Off-Leash Sessions Program

Service Description

This program is for dogs 6 Months+ with no behavioural issues (human/dog aggression or fear/anxiety). Dogs who complete this program are welcome back for dog walking, daycare and boarding services. This program overall will provide you with the training and skills you need to have for off-leash recall and reliability. Not only will we help to unleash your dogs full potential but we will teach you how to be consistent with a clear line of communication. We will teach the dogs solid obedience, how to channel a calm state of mind and how to be reliable. We do one-on-one weekly for the first 5 sessions and then we spread out the rest of the sessions throughout the rest of the program. Session will involve learning how to do a structured heel walk, practicing drills with your dog to proof their skills, field trips to public spaces, and we graduate the program with a hike including our pack of dogs. We work with the dogs and owners to help build a balanced and healthy lifestyle. One that includes boundaries, trust, and structure which allows for off-leash freedom that is earned and safe. Tools Required (not included in price): -Crate -Prong collar -e-Collar -Martingale -6’ lead -Cot bed -20'-30' Long Lead What your pet will learn: -Crate Manners -Structured Heel Walk -Sit (Implied-stay) -Down (Implied-stay) -Place -Off-Leash Recall -Follow -Drop -Break -Impulse control (respecting thresholds, no barking, chewing, etc.) -How to channel a calm state of mind -How to cooperate when being handled (i.e. grooming, nail trims, etc.) -Overall, they will learn how to be relaxed and confident, that is accomplished by the dog knowing what is expected of them and how to make good choices Included in this program is free once a month follow up sessions for the life of your dog. This is contingent on YOU maintaining your dogs training.
